Welcome to Elope Bridal’s Try at Home Service
Our Try at Home Service allows you to try on Elope Bridal dresses in the comfort of your own home.
How it works:
Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page with the dresses and sizes you would like to try and we will get in touch to confirm availability. From there, we ship sample dresses to you, you try them on at your leisure and return the dresses within the allocated time.
These dresses are sample dresses which have been worn for photo shoots. As such, they may have small flaws.
The details:
You can try on up to 3 dresses at a time. If there are more styles/sizes you're interested in, you'll need to wait until your set of dresses has been returned before more dresses can be ordered.
Order processing requires approximately 2 days plus shipping Australia wide.
You are permitted to keep the dress(es) for up to 5 calendar days. All samples must be postmarked for return within the 5 days allotted window.
If you need to keep the dress(es) longer than 5 days, you must contact us directly at hello@elopebridal.com.au . We understand situations can arise where you may need more time, please contact us to see if there is anyone waiting to try on the dresses in your care. We can come to an agreement.
Cost:
$40 plus a deposit of $60. Your deposit will be refunded to you on return of the dresses in the same condition you received them.
If you decide to purchase a dress, a $40 credit will apply to the price of the dress.
Finer details:
If you do not return the dresses in the time given and fail to respond to communication a breach of contract process will begin and your card will be charged the full amount of the dresses.
Samples must be returned in the original condition they were received with any tags still intact. If samples are returned with obvious damage, or any sample dress is missing from the returned box, you will be charged according to the extent of the damage assessed/missing dress(es). If the dress is returned and deemed damaged beyond repair, you will be held liable for the full retail price of the dress.
Some Try on Service Rules for Happy Dresses
- No Makeup
- No fake tan- this rubs off on to the dresses so quickly and will stain easily..
- Put your shoes on AFTER the dress is on. This eliminates a stiletto incident.
- No jewellery, nothing sharp as this can easily snag the delicate fabrics.
Samples are not permitted to be transported out of the country. Returns must follow our return procedures and use our pre-approved return shipping labels. (currently trying to sort this out)

How many sample dresses can I order at one time?
Sample dresses can be ordered in quantities of 3 per order.
What if I love my sample dress, can I just buy the sample dress?
Sample dresses are not for rent or purchase. They are not to be worn to events or kept for any reason.
All samples must be returned in accordance with our Try at Home return requirements.
What do you mean by “obvious damage”?
Obvious damage may include but is not limited to the following: damaged, missing dress tags, coated in pet hair, excessive dirt or stains, and any strong lingering odors.
Samples must be returned in good condition, the same as they were received.
Which dresses can I Try at Home?
As a small label, we maintain a limited stock of sample dresses, therefore we do not keep every dress/size on hand.
